Game Description:
Match the Socks is one of the nursery games where dragging and dropping is needed. Learning games for 3-year-olds like this one can teach children about several different things, such as colors and laundry.
Most parents who do laundry have experienced situations where their young children mix up their socks with pairs that don’t match. They have to spend extra time gathering the matching pairs of socks together for their children.
Pair Up the Cute Socks!
But what if your child can learn how to match socks? All they need to do is develop their skills in recognizing color patterns. That is one of the key lessons featured in the Match the Socks children’s game.
It also features a series of colorful socks hanging from clothespins on a clothesline. Each sock features a different color and character on it. The green sock has a frog, the red sock has a strawberry, the blue sock has a whale, and the pink sock has a bunny rabbit.
Toddlers can look at both the colors and characters to help them learn which socks match together. Most free games for toddlers don’t offer multiple ways to identify and match items, but this one does.
How to Play
- You will see an assortment of four socks laid out on the surface and four other socks hanging on the clothesline.
- Click and drag one of the socks from the surface to the space next to the matching sock on the clothesline.
- Drop the sock in the space. If it matches, the sock will hang next to its matching pair on the clothesline.
- Do the same thing for the other three pairs of socks until you match all four pairs
Educational Benefits
