Game Description:
Pirate Island is a swiping or tapping game where the screen is filled with rows of boxes, each one marked with a pirate symbol. The child swipes the boxes one by one to flip them over and reveal what is underneath.
As the boxes are cleared, a pirate gradually appears on a small island who is waving at the player, with two ships and several treasure boxes beside him. The goal is to tap/swipe all the boxes and uncover the full scene. Once every box has been cleared and the pirate and his ships are fully revealed, the player is rewarded with two treasure boxes as a prize.
Why kids enjoy it?
There is something deeply satisfying about tapping and clearing the boxes and watching a hidden picture come together piece by piece. Each tap reveals a little more of the pirate and his island.
So, curiosity keeps building as the screen fills in. Kids often want to see the full picture, which keeps them tapping consistently until the very end.
The two treasure boxes at the finish give the whole thing a clear payoff that makes children want to play again. It is simple enough that very young children can play independently, but engaging enough that kids up to age 10 stay invested.
Who’s it best for?
This is best fit for kids aged 3 to 6 who enjoy discovery-based games with a clear goal and a satisfying finish.
Also good for kids who get frustrated easily because the game never punishes you.
